Hi! I’m Kaloni (she/her/fae/faer), a queer trans woman based in Ontario. I trick sand into thinking, or as most people call it… software development. My favourite part is writing software that other people find useful. I’m happiest with a terminal open and at least three side projects on the go (finishing them is a separate hobby).

This site is my little patch of the web, for the things I build, bits of my life, and whatever I’m hyperfixating on this week.

Things I’m into

  • Phone networks. I’m an absolute telco nerd: if it rings, it piques my interest.
  • Maintaining my homelab, phone system included.
  • Retro tech: old computers, and retro games on the SNES, Genesis, and NES.
  • Video games: platformers and beat ’em ups, stealth games, RPGs and MMOs (especially Final Fantasy XIV), big open worlds, space exploration, cozy indies, and anything I can play with friends.
  • Music and travel.
